Islam first stood before Idris as a school subject. Preparing honest lessons required him to move beyond headlines. The Qur’an and memories of Egyptian hospitality began to speak together: one God, one prophetic call, worship woven into ordinary time. The teacher became the student, and spent his remaining years inviting others without contempt for the road he had travelled.
