- Recorded his first prayer at a mosque
The full story
James Humble called himself an atheist for most of his adult life. He said the journey to Islam was slow, private and intellectual — reading, questioning, sitting with the answers. When he declared, he filmed it: a young British man standing in a mosque, reciting the shahadah, visibly moved. The video reached people who had never considered that an atheist could arrive here.
