The full story

Paul did not leave Christianity because he stopped reading. He left because he kept reading. Mark’s Jesus redirected goodness to God and commanded obedience; later Trinitarian certainty looked less like the earliest voice. The Qur’an’s tone, moral structure and uncompromising chapter of divine oneness confronted him. His shahadah cost friendships, but intellectual comfort could no longer outrank truth.
